Speaker Areas

The speakers are mounted under the track at intervals of 30 to 50 cm. That means that they follow the route of the track. The matching  piece of track is named Speaker Area. At the end of the speaker area there are two Hall sensors (H in the figure).   

It can easily be seen that the loudspeaker must be on when the magnet has arrived between the two inner sensors of the matching Speaker Area.

   

The Speaker Areas overlap each other to create a smooth transition of the sound from one area to the other.
