Loco Card

The regulator of the OSSYNTHS system has some special features in order to get a realistic moving locomotive. The values of maximum speed, acceleration rate, braking rate and even more can be set for a given locomotive. Also some values for the sound can be set, for instance: number of cylinders, type of horn, idling revs and maximum revs for the diesel, choice of whistle and an adjustment for the sync signal in the steam variant.

These values are saved on an exchangeable card, the Loco Card. This card sits in a slot in the front of the system. Each loco has its own card and so the preparation of the system for a different loco is quickly done by just changing the Loco Card.
